Ask a man what he wants he'll tell you what YOU want to hear. Men start off telling you how different you are JUST to turn around and treat you the same as the last chick. Another situation, another heartbreak, another frustrated cry of "why me!?" How many tears are you going to cry trying to figure out males, when the answer is clear: You aren't his top choice, you're a placeholder. Why play games and waste your time? Because immature men are about survival, not integrity! In reality he can't be honest and say "I want to settle down with someone, but that someone isn't you." He can't say "I can see myself getting married, but not to you." In order to keep the peace, keep you on his roster, and keep you filled with hope, men choose to lie and too many women choose to believe in that lie. Not in Sparta!

No matter if you're just dating you and he has no reason to lie, he will lie to fuck you. No matter if you're the mother of his child, he will still lie to keep you from making his life hell or putting him on child support. No matter if you're a woman that has shown him loyalty and held him down for years, he will not be honest about why he sees you as a placeholder. Everyman knows quickly if you're worth changing for or if you're just "something to do" until he can get to the type of woman he sees as special.
